Plymouth Art Weekender is coordinated by Visual Arts Plymouth CIC and generously funded through the Arts Council England National Lottery Fund.
This year, Arts Council England emergency funding was vital in enabling us to continue planning and building the festival throughout the pandemic. It also helped our commissioned artists and Plymouth Platform mentees adjust their projects in light of COVID-19, as well as providing extra seed-funding to support 8 other projects
We are grateful to our co-commissioning partners, Nudge Community Builders CIC, Theatre Royal Plymouth and KARST and our long-term partners, Plymouth City Council, The Box, The Arts Institute at the University of Plymouth, Plymouth Marjon University, and Plymouth College of Art for supporting us during this period and enabling this year’s Art Weekender to take place, despite many challenges – thank you!
However, the Weekender would be nothing without YOU, our greatest supporters by volunteering, participating and visiting the PAW events and locales, supporting our Crowdfunder, by spreading the word, getting your friends and families involved, and by sharing your creative practice with audiences new and past.
