The Weekender team wants PAW2020 to happen as much as you do! We know there are lots of you with ideas and events that you’re excited to list, and that’s why we’re working extra hard to make sure that the confirmed dates (25, 26 & 27 September) can go ahead.
In order to give us all the best shot at this happening, we’ve decided to run the listings process slightly differently this year.
How it will work:
· Stage 1
Over the next 3 weeks (18th May – 5th June), we’ll be accepting Expressions of Interest, which give us just the basic information about your event. This will really help us gauge the kinds of projects taking place at the festival and the relevant safety measures that will need to be in place, as well as giving you the chance to identify any concerns you may have about organising and running an event post-Covid. The questions in the simple E.O.I form will also give you an indication of the details you’ll need to have ready when the listings do open in a few weeks’ time.
· Stage 2
The PAW team will then have a short period in which to help you address any concerns and get your Plymouth City Council paperwork in place (for events outdoors).
· Stage 3
The listings portal will then open online as usual, and listings will need to be sent in by July 1st, to allow time for the design and print of the PAW Guide, map, and social distancing measures to be put in place.
