Plymouth Art Weekender is initiated by Visual Arts Plymouth CIC, whose Directors and Activators meet monthly to discuss the Weekender and develop plans for the future. A small part-time team manages the Weekender on their behalf.
For 2019/2020 the festival producers are Flock SouthWest CIC, coordinated by Lucy Rollins.
