Plymouth Art Weekender is looking for Volunteers!
Below is an indication of areas where you could help out and gain experience:
Install and De-install (20th/21st September and 25th September):
Art Handling and/or working with artists
Assisting the team to set up technical kit, projectors and sound equipment
Preparing festival materials
Working with across Plymouth City centre to support other arts events
During the festival (22nd/23rd/24th September):
Stewarding The Weekender Commissions and associated events
Acting as festival guides and providing visitor information
Assisting with audience participation for social sculpture and interactive installations
Carrying out audience questionnaires, recording verbal feedback from artists and audience members
Writing blog posts and taking photographs
Volunteers will receive training and an introduction to the Weekender from the Coordinators in September – so please register your interest before then.

About Plymouth Art Weekender and Visual Arts Plymouth
Plymouth Art Weekender takes place annually across the city. The Weekender acts as a platform to celebrate Plymouth, its people and the visual arts, promoting the city as an exciting contemporary art destination. Initiated by Visual Arts Plymouth (VAP), a voluntary group of artists and organisers active in the city. For more information on VAP and its members visit http://visualartsplymouth.org
PAW showcases the breadth of activity that takes place in Plymouth, drawing it together for one bumper weekend of creativity for all ages, with events and exhibitions throughout the city drawing large audiences from Plymouth & beyond.
