WALK, HANDS, EYES (Plymouth): Myriam Lefkowitz

WALK, HANDS, EYES (PLYMOUTH), Myriam Lefkowitz
Barbican Theatre, Castle Street, Plymouth PL1 2NJ

I am going to take you by the hand and ask you to close your eyes…

With these words, your one-to- one journey across Plymouth begins, as you are led by a guide to experience the city as never before. Bristol-based producers Situations and Barbican Theatre have commissioned French artist Myriam Lefkowitz to bring her captivating performance Walk, Hands, Eyes to Plymouth. A renowned choreographer and artist, Lefkowitz has devised this one-to- one exploration especially for Plymouth Art Weekender, bringing Paris and Plymouth-based performers together for the first time.

Places are strictly limited so early booking is advised. The performance will last 90 minutes approximately and will go ahead whatever the weather. Comfortable shoes and suitable clothing for an outdoor experience are therefore advised. Full details of arrival times and locations will be given at the time of booking.

Every effort has been made to make the performance as accessible as possible and guides will do their best to accommodate. Please contact info@situations.org.uk if you’d like to discuss particular access requirements.
