Cygnus Refulgens is a film that captures a swan dabbling and glowing in the water at night, using an infrared camera, an optical device that detects infrared energy and converts it into an electronic signal. The camera is constantly adjusting to the ever changing heat emission generated, hence the flickering and pixelated nature of the film. Infrared has the ability to make visible the invisible and reveal a hidden realm of activity and energy.
