Shipping noise is a major contributor to sound pollution at sea. We don’t know much about how it impacts on marine life. Researchers at the University are currently investigating further. Aquatic traffic uses a shoal of scuba divers, two snorkelling sapiens, and a lone free diver to draw attention to this issue, as they swim past the webcam in the Plymouth Sound and try to catch your attention as the live footage is relayed onto the Big Screen. With the kind assistance of The Marine Institute at Plymouth University and the Plymouth Underwater Teaching Observatory (PLUTO)
