Explore a series of buildings and artworks linked to the Plymouth Blitz which took place 75 years ago. Meet on the steps of the Museum and Art Gallery – one of the buildings that survived the bombs. Then take a look at ‘Hope’ (2009) – a Plymouth University commission by Frances May Favata located behind the Portland building. Then walk with us to St Andrew’s Church. See the famous Resurgam board, and meet a member of staff from the Minster to discover more about the beautiful stained glass windows that were commissioned post-Blitz by the Astors, designed by artist John Piper and made by Patrick Reyntiens.
