Event Details

Nine out of Ten people hold a delusional belief.  (New Scientist Magazine)  “I don’t believe Birmingham exists” is an exploration of the ridiculousness of beliefs.  By a process of disequilibrium and allusion the viewer is led through a series of paintings which challenge fixed identities and populism.  It examines the intersection between reality and the loss of society’s collective freedoms in the face of growing hypernormalization.
