Event Details

At 7pm on Sunday 24th September 2017, CAFE CONCRETE returns to the Space Age Plymouth Athenaeum to showcase live performances by

i.          Gugalanna (sounds of the kosmische bull),

ii.         Hawklord2112 (modular synth explorations) and

iii.        Koombe (improvisations with bass, electronics and domestic objects).

Advanced sound artist and composer Neil Rose will be on DJ duty.

Owen A Groombridge and Ross Oliver-Carter will present their new film/sound work “Rupture”, which is concerned with the breakdown of physical, metaphysical and virtual territories and spaces.

£2 entry.

This is a special event as part of the Plymouth Art Weekender and is also kindly supported by the Plymouth Athenaeum who will provide the bar. Non-profit CDs, DVDs and oddments will be for sale in the usual intimate, friendly atmosphere. CAFE CONCRETE: adventures in experimental electronica, sound art and music from the outer limits.
